Say Their Names: Honoring Our Ancestors in Wilcox County is an interactive, photographic exhibit of rare, unseen portraits of our African American ancestors in Wilcox County from around 1900. These images are powerful portrayals of how the men, women, and children in Wilcox County shaped our history. This exhibit is hosted by the Shoe Shop and Quilting Museum and is open to all ages. The opening is February 28th with a series of events to follow. Join us for a chance to celebrate those who came before us and envision how we can shape history now.
